Alex Fierro was born in 1986 in New Jersey. He studied mathematics and computer science intensely before graduating from Monroe Woodbury High School in 2004. He later went on to SUNY Purchase College. While at Purchase, as part of his Senior Project/Thesis, he began the social-networking site Find The Cameras in response to a university program to install hundreds of cameras throughout campus. His site allowed fellow students to use the Google Maps API to create a public database of the camera's geolocations so the entire campus would know exactly where they were all installed. Even though the site's huge success royally ticked off the school's administrators, he got an A on the thesis and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science.
Since starting with RustyBrick in 2008, he's worked on a large percentage of the projects in the company. (Note: That little slider up top doesn't come close to showing all the RB sites he's worked on!) Alex prides himself on being a jack-of-all-trades in knowing all aspects of website design and programming. In addition to advanced knowledge of Javascript libraries, CSS styling and the like, Alex also does nearly all of the Flash design, animation and related Actionscript programming for RustyBrick.
