Drown The iPad
Many of us here use the InvisibleShield products to protect our iPhones. I tried installing them on both the iPhones and iPads myself and did a pretty bad job the first time. So I paid for someone to install it on my iPhone at the mall, like some of the others and it worked well.
I decided to get a replacement for the iPad, and give the install another try. This time, I had the experience of trying it a couple times myself and then watching the pros in the mall do the install.
The major tips for installing the InvisibleShield on an iPad are:
(1) Use a lot of the liquid spray. Use it on your hands and fingers. Use it on the back of the shield itself and use it on the iPad's screen.
(2) Get one side down, preferably the home button side down first, and then flap it over slowly. This way it doesn't stick to other things.
We made a video of the install. The whole process took about 7 minutes and 30 seconds, but I speed up the video to about 3 mintes. We recorded it on an iPhone 4.
I won't get into some of the obsession in the office about 'rainbows' or smudges on some iPhones even with the InvisibleShield on.
Finally, here is a 50% discount code that is valid until July 31st - note it expires after first use, so first come first serve. Discount code: iapfb9ba (fyi, I don't make money from this).
