RustyBrick's LTE Speed Test

Published November 14, 2013

LTE LogoThis morning I noticed that my wireless provider, AT&T, finally has LTE data speeds at RustyBrick's offices. T-Mobile added it a couple months ago, Verizon and Sprint had it here for ages.

So I decided to run a speed test, using all four networks, on Android devices, via the SpeedTest app from Ookla.

Here are the results between Sprint, T-Mobile, AT&T and Verizon on LTE from within the RustyBrick offices:

LTE Speed Test at RustyBrick

In order of best, specifically at our office:

  • Verizon Wireless: 27.73 Mbps down / 14.29 Mbps up
  • AT&T Wireless: 24.76 Mbps down / 12.45 Mbps up
  • Sprint: 8.44 Mbps down / 5.97 Mbps up
  • T-Mobile: 5.15 Mbps down / 2.98 Mbps up

Of course, if we run these again, the numbers won't be exact, but they would be similar.
