Originally from the Boston area Steve has been into graphic design since his early days in high school. Before he knew proper kerning and and photoshop commands, he was already designing logos, cd sleeves and websites for himself and for his friends.
When it came time for college his interests were split between Biology and Graphic design, and after two years double majoring in these topics at Roger Williams University, he transferred to Boston University to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Now Immersed in drawing, painting and sculpture, he developed his visual skills, leveraging them as a foundation on which to build his design proficiency.
Steve had a total of three internships throughout his college career, working at a small agency, a sports arena, and with an academic in-house web team. This produced a wide range of work in a variety of mediums, from websites, to billboards, to hockey trading cards and even a championship trophy. Following graduation, he worked for two years as a designer at Vistaprint, working primarily on email design.
Steve continues his passion for graphic design in and outside of work. He has a love for graphic design as an art form, particularly poster design, and in 2010 was selected as a winner for the Good 50x70 international poster competition.
