RustyBrick Jewish Apps Featured on Purim Costumes
People go all out to raise the bar on the Jewish Holiday of Purim. I just received an email from Meir, a client of mine, who decided to dress up as an iPhone this year. This is nothing new, many people did that last year.
However, he raised the bar by putting a few RustyBrick Jewish iPhone apps on his iPhone costume! His costume (see picture) features:
- Megillas Esther - a fun holiday app with the Story of Esther and numerous noise makers built-in. Thousands of people downloaded this app in just the past two days!
- Shabbat Shalom - a quick utility app displaying Shabbat Candlelighting times around the world.
- Siddur - our flagship Jewish Prayerbook used daily by tens of thousands of people worldwide.
Other such costumes have been spotted around the globe. Shari said on twitter, "I had one little girl dressed up as an Iphone reading the Megilah from the Ipad!" Know of other such costumes? Let us know by adding a comment.
By the way, see someone dressed up as Barry.

Wearing costumes like an iPhone is d\suitable for an adult. I think having a costume of an iPhone is unique because only were able to choose it as their costume design.
