Get Shabbat Clock for iPhone!

Can't part with your iPhone on the holiest day of the week? We've got the solution!

Shabbos Clock is the app for every Jew who celebrates the Shabbat.

Shabbos Clock for iPhone Includes:

  • Displays current time on screen.
  • Set up to 3 alarms
  • Alarms automatically shut off after specified duration (10-50 seconds)
  • Genuine alarm clock sound and vibrate too.
  • No snooze button to interfere with Shabbos rules.

Important: For the alarm to be triggered, you must leave this application open. Closing the program or the iPhone will prevent the alarm from waking you up. Please also make sure your ringer volume is loud enough to wake you up. Make sure to plug in your device to prevent battery drain from not waking you up.

Note: If you are using an iPod Touch first generation, make sure to plug in external speakers to hear the alarm.

I tried it several times, leaving it open, and it only works when the App is working and the screen "active". The auto-lock steeing of the iphone disables the alarm, whether i select the option or not in the settings of the app, which makes it TOTALLY useless on Shabbes ! What a waste, too bad !

Not happy with this app, especially for the price.  I think you need 2 additional features: 1) Make it work without having to stay on continually just like the default clock app works that device comes with. 2) Add a feature to allow one to set the day of the week I know you've put a lot of works into your other apps, please do the same for this one as well.

Completely aggree with you. Right now I bought this app. Hope it will encourage Rustybrick team developping version 2.

That's quite a circular argument: it's not a big seller so we won't improve it. Have you considered that it's not a big seller because whenever potential customers see it on iTunes all the reviews read "it doesn't work"? I for one would have bought this if those reviews were more positive so perhaps it could become a bigger seller if it were a better app?

Are you closing the app or leaving it open? Are you making sure to keep it plugged in? What are the settings you have configured?

I understand your frustration.  It's a very old app.  We have bold ideas for version 2 of the app.  However, it's difficult to invest a lot of time in it since it's not such a big seller

Tried this app. Fortunately I forgot to turn off the default alarm. This app is missing one thing in order to be great - it should work. I and many I know would pay for this app. Please work on it!

Hi guys! Your app is very useful for me... It wakes me up every shabbat for more than 2 years. It would be even better if you'll add some features: 1. works on the background, (the app will wake me up even if closed, and won't drain the battery) 2. optin to set waking time as sunrise - 1:15; this way I won't have to set alarm time each week as it will ring automatically 1.25 hour before sunset!

Not a good app. 1) It needs to be plugged on for all shabbos to work (this is not good for the battery) 2)It only has 3 alarms 3)You cant set it for days of the week so if theres a 3 day yom tov and you want to get up at different times each day your out of luck
