How To Give Us Feedback On Our Apps

Suggestions Please!

In the early days of our iPhone Apps we used a Google Groups for feedback. For various reasons we stopped using the group and moved to Twitter to communicate app updates via @rustybrick and @isiddur. The issue with Twitter is that it isn't easy for everyone to provide feedback, ask questions and submit ideas to us - believe it or not, not everyone is on Twitter.

Today we have decided to add a quick and easy way for our users to submit feedback. Instead of just emailing us or asking us Qs on Twitter, we added a commenting box to all our iPhone apps. The commenting is powered by Disqus, so I hope they don't go out of business, and it works incredibly well.

How To Post Questions, Suggestions or Concerns:

(1) Find the iPhone Application you want to comment on at rustybrick.com/iphone.

(2) On the top right hand side, click on the "comments" link in the "Get" box. Here is a picture:

(3) You should be taken to the bottom of the page, right by the comments box. That it is!

Now, you can either post a new comment or reply to comment already posted. Here is how:

Reply to Comments: By finding the comment and clicking reply on the right hand side of the comment:

Posting As...:

I personally have a login with Disqus, but you may not want to. So you can either post as a Guest, or login via Disqus, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo or via OpenID. The choice is yours.

Oh, feel free to also use the "Like" Facebook button above the comments box to like your favorite apps and share them with friends.

So since basically it was said we are going to be able to own those big provides and all what will happen with the npc group, for example will it come with a provide or will we be able to buy undermanned ship. The addition on this is creating it for example some npc/npcs approved away actually have actions, letters from or their near family members, funeral even.

Mark S. is definitely on the right track. If you want to get a professional looking email address, Id recommend buying your name domain name, like or cheap uggs If its common it might be difficult to get, however, be creative and you can usually find something.

Definitely agree with what you stated. Your explanation was certainly the easiest to understand. I tell you, I usually get irked when folks discuss issues that they plainly do not know about. Most of the disqus blog comment format that you mention are auto approved. I heard some where that due to the reason that disqus use java script they are no longer helpful for any typ eof link building of SEO... May I know if disqus has no value then why it is still used by the bloggers..??

3D Fireworks is a pretty cool visual show that’s probably best suited for desk jockeys and frequent fliers on Air Bud. The bored office slave with a recharging cradle could let it run all day like a screensaver, and the bored stoner could just stare at it nonstop until the pizza guy finally shows up.

I must say , the best feature, of course, is the ability to produce your own fireworks displays by tapping around the screen… and this is where The Flaw starts to become apparent. As far as I can tell, tapping is the only way to ensure that you get a great show.

Singing Cat will have a pretty short shelf life, but in the right hands I think it could be set up as a prop in some mildly amusing pranks and maybe even diffuse a hostile situation. Imagine you’re screaming your guts out at someone and they hold this app in front of your face while you’re yelling… the cat will be mimicking your every word and, unless you’re on a truly murderous rampage, you just might break down and laugh.

I installed Singing Cat thinking it would be the dumbest iPhone app on the planet, and it definitely qualifies as dumb… but it’s also kind of funny! I guess it would fall into that class of apps that are basically a cheap laugh, then after about five minutes it gets old and you forget about it.
