Sefard Siddur Now In English & More

iPhone Siddur AppAs many of you know, we submitted a new version of the iPhone Siddur to Apple for approval. That has now been approved are is ready for download. The big news is that English translation is now available for Nusach Sefard, but there are other updates as well.

First, the smaller updates include:

  • Tisha b'Av Changes
  • Fixed Misc iOS4 Compatibility Bugs
  • Misc Text Fixes for Fast Days on All Nusachs
  • Hi-Res App Icon for new iPhone 4
  • Added Trup/Ta'ame Hamikra/Cantilation Notes to Relevant Texts
  • Additional iOS4 Compatibility Bugs
  • Updated Minyan Database
  • Removed Check for Push Zmanim Subscription on Open of App (Performance)
  • Speed Enhancements for Location Lookups

  • Added Feedback & Questions Feature Under More

The big update is English translation for Sefard. We already came out with an English iPhone Siddur for Nusach Ashkenaz and now we got Sefard covered. What if you already bought Ashkenaz, will you have to pay an additional $8.99? No! If you purchased one English translation, any additional translations are $1.99 per Nusach!

How Do You Get It?

Open the iPhone Siddur and go to Nusach Sefard. Then on the top right, it should say "Upgrade to English." Then follow the prompts. If you never purchased an English translation, you will be charged $8.99, but if you have already purchased the translation, you will only be charged $1.99.
