Selichos Nusach Lita In Siddur

Rosh Hashanah is right around the corner and that means many are saying or will be saying Selichos daily/nightly. I am happy to say that we were able to get Selichos for Ashkenaz users, by partnering with Davka. The Selichos is Minhag Lita and is available in version 4.7 of the iPhone Siddur.

Selichos will show up automatically in the Siddur every year under Bedtime Shema, in the "Select Prayer" screen in the iPhone Siddur. We will actually have it show up in advance so that you can purchase the upgrade prior to having to say Selichos.

How do you get it?

When you load up the Ashkenaz section and see "Selichos," click on it. The menu will then give you some information and ask if you want to pay 99 cents for the upgrade. If you agree, you are set!

The Selichos will show up automatically and show you the Selichos you need to say for that day/night. It will not let you advance or go back. Don't forget, this is a smart siddur and does the thinking for you.

We are also releasing a standalone Selichos App, which is now available for download over here. The standalone app works pretty much like the siddur, but only has the Selichos Minhag Lita text in it. The app is also a bit more expensive than the in-app purchase in the Siddur. The standalone app currently costs $2.99.
