One of the more common questions we get here in the office from prospects, customers and even some employees is why the name RustyBrick? Where did the name come from? How did we decide to name the company RustyBrick? Why did we decide to use a word "rusty" and a word...
There are a few pet peeves I have, like people misspelling RustyBrick as Rustybrick or even worse, Rusty brick. But one of my big ones in the office is people taking a soda can from our soda fridge and not replacing it with a warm one that is sitting out of the fridge...
At our office in West Nyack, New York, 70.5% of the sun was obscured by the moon today at around 2:44pm EST.
So like any other office building that was able to see a partial or total eclipse today, most people went outside to look at it with special glasses...
Last night was the RustyBrick annual baseball game, which we do at the local baseball stadium. The stadium is named Palisades Credit Union Park and it is the home of the Rockland Boulders, an American independent professional baseball team...
We just had our first real fire in our office. There was a smell of something burning but we couldn't initially figure out where it was coming from.
So we turned off the air conditioning but that didn't solve the issue. The smell kept on getting worse...
In our line of business, we get our fair share of RFPs (request for proposals) and 99% of the time, we do not respond to them. In fact, we receive scammy RFPs from time to time also.

Several months ago, we decided to purchase a Roomba to do a nightly cleaning of our ~2,000 square foot office space. I wanted to share some of our feedback on how well it does the job, at least for our specific office.
RustyBrick is on the second floor of an office space with no levels...
On July 4th, a few of us came to the office all day to upgrade our network to support gigabit speeds. After the upgrade was complete, our internal network was super fast but our Internet speeds topped off at around 250 megabits per second down and 50 megabits per second upload...
