Annual Rockland Boulders Baseball Game

Published August 17, 2017

Last night was the RustyBrick annual baseball game, which we do at the local baseball stadium.   The stadium is named Palisades Credit Union Park and it is the home of the Rockland Boulders, an American independent professional baseball team.  The stadium is less than 10 minutes away from our office.  We rent two suites to host the 50-plus RustyBrick employees and their friends and families that join the event.  The picture above is of the "Boulder Bird," the team mascot, with Ronnie's eldest daughter.

Here is the group shot of most of those who attended the event last night:

I was very tempted to use my drone to take this photo, it would have come out way better.  But I read that you can be arrested for flying a drone in a stadium.   Here is a view of the box we rented from the other side of the stadium, we are on the top left of this photo:

We had plenty of kosher food as well from Strikly Kosher, a kosher food provider for stadiums including the NY Yankees and NY Mets.  We had hot dogs, meatball heroes, potato kinishes, baked beans, coleslaw, popcorn and much much more.  This is a photo of everything wrapped up before it was opened (kosher food needs to be sealed):

They even put our company name on the jumbo screen, but of course they put a space between Rusty & Brick (I hate that):

Overall, the weather was perfect, the game was fun, the kids had a blast and the team got to spend some fun time together.

Looking forward to next year!
