There are a few pet peeves I have, like people misspelling RustyBrick as Rustybrick or even worse, Rusty brick. But one of my big ones in the office is people taking a soda can from our soda fridge and not replacing it with a warm one that is sitting out of the fridge.
We can go through dozens of sodas in a single day at our company and when you go through that many, you can end up with an empty flavor of soda in the fridge fairly quickly. And if you do not replace the sodas quickly, the next person who wants that flavor may end up with a warm beverage. No one likes drinking a warm carbonated beverage, no one!
The problem is, often people forget to replace the soda in the fridge or they simply think others will replace it for them. To me, that is a bit inconsiderate and somewhat a selfish attitude and upsets me.
In fact, I joked about monitoring the soda situation in the office and firing the next employee that doesn't replace a soda can. Then when their next job interview happens and they are asked why they are looking for a job, they can say RustyBrick fired them for not putting a new soda in the fridge after taking one for themselves.
This might sound crazy but don't we all have pet peeves? What is yours?
