We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a pleasant and patient personality and excellent organizational skills to work as a support and sales associate for RustyBrick's ShulCloud and Jewish Ad Network products. You will be working closely with the development team and project managers on ShulCloud and Jewish Ad Network as well as deal directly with both existing and prospective customers. The support and sales associate must be patient to deal with repetitive questions and very basic "how do I" questions within the platform. They also must be able to easily convey the product functionality and utility to all types of users.

This job is to join a team of developers, support and sales individuals to provide both support and sales for the product. You must be very tech-savvy, be very comfortable using web software, and be able to quickly diagnose issues for other users. Training and webinars will likely also be part of the tasks. Writing and maintaining manuals for using the software will also be part of the job. The sales side will include providing demonstrations of the software and talking to prospects over the phone about the software. You must be able to convey the value of digital advertising and how cost per click and cost per impression ad models work. Also managing the client ad design process and showing them the success metrics of their online campaigns within the Jewish Ad Network is important.

RustyBrick will train you on the software and have you shadow the team so you can learn it over time. Note, being active on social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc) is a plus.

Must be willing and able to work on-site in our Rockland County, New York office.

Must be able to understand Jewish law, customs and how synagogues operate. Note: This may be two separate jobs, one for sales and one for support - depending on your qualifications.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Handle support phone calls, chats, tickets and in-person questions
  • Interact with developers or users to gain better understanding of the software
  • Provide sales demonstrations using video and computer sharing software
  • Manage an online lead and prospect database
  • Be able to reproduce user errors or software bugs in the software
  • Manage online digital ads and ad creatives
  • Cold calling and prospecting may be required
  • Participate in bi-annual meet ups with synagogue administrators in-person
  • Potentially fly to expos to promote the product
  • Conduct online webinars for instructional purposes
  • Write and maintain online software user documentation
  • Potentially help with basic frontend HTML/CSS coding in the platform
