West Nyack, New York - RustyBrick, Inc. has created a custom Android tablet solution for National Checking Company's Date Code Genie product. The Android hardware and software resides typically in a restaurant, enabling the food preparation staff to more effectively print food preparation labels for their product.
The Android application is custom designed for the hardware tablet and reduces errors, waste and labor hours. The Date Code Genie software has an easy-to-use touch screen, and the ability to add notes or print custom labels via a web interface. The web interface helps the manager control the use of the Android features, while making it quick and easy for the staff to print the necessary labels.
There is a corporate portal, managed by the head company, to help distribute the application and hardware to the restaurants. It also allows the head office to push global settings to each company install and manage the Android software remotely.
