One of our more recent product launches has been Zoomnia, a community site currently available to Westchester County, New York residents to get answers and advice from hundreds of quality local specialists in a number of areas, such as landscapers, career coaches, attorneys, acupuncturists and many more.
Using AJAX and database-driven technologies, subscribers to the service can get answers from a specified category of service offerings. They remain anonymous when they ask a question of service providers. For example, a person seeking limousine service can ask providers about the types of cars they provide, their driving records, costs, and anything else that is important to them. Once a subscriber submits a question (which is free), it is sent to local limousine services. Up to three businesses can choose to answer (for a small fee) and the answers are returned to the customer who can then review them and select a provider if they like.
Additionally, Zoomnia offers an Answer Forum so that everyone can benefit from the answers given by local specialists. The local specialists have their contact information placed right near their answers so they benefit by the free advertising on the Internet.
