In the early days of our iPhone Apps we used a Google Groups for feedback. For various reasons we stopped using the group and moved to Twitter to communicate app updates via @rustybrick and @isiddur. The issue with Twitter is that it isn't easy for everyone to provide feedback, ask questions and submit ideas to us - believe it or not, not everyone is on Twitter.
Today we have decided to add a quick and easy way for our users to submit feedback. Instead of just emailing us or asking us Qs on Twitter, we added a commenting box to all our iPhone apps. The commenting is powered by Disqus, so I hope they don't go out of business, and it works incredibly well.
How To Post Questions, Suggestions or Concerns:
(1) Find the iPhone Application you want to comment on at rustybrick.com/iphone.
(2) On the top right hand side, click on the "comments" link in the "Get" box. Here is a picture:
(3) You should be taken to the bottom of the page, right by the comments box. That it is!
Now, you can either post a new comment or reply to comment already posted. Here is how:
New Comments:
Reply to Comments: By finding the comment and clicking reply on the right hand side of the comment:
Posting As...:
I personally have a login with Disqus, but you may not want to. So you can either post as a Guest, or login via Disqus, Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo or via OpenID. The choice is yours.
Oh, feel free to also use the "Like" Facebook button above the comments box to like your favorite apps and share them with friends.
