As you know, many of us here pre-ordered the iPhone 4 and many of us are picking them up in a store.
So it turns out, most people who pre-ordered and picked the FedEx delivery are now getting them today. So the ones that picked in-store pick up, like most of us at RustyBrick, will have to wait until tomorrow to get it. Plus, we'd have to wait on a long line for who knows how long. I guess we missed the boat on this one - but how could we have known.
My iPhone Spoof:
Today, a received an iPad via FedEx for someone. When I received the FedEx delivery, I played it up like I had my in-store pick up switched to a FedEx delivery. I showed the guys the box came from Apple, the receipt had the Apple logo and it came via FedEx on the day most people are receiving their iPhones.
They were convinced it was an iPhone 4 and I some how switched my delivery option from in-store pickup to home delivery. You should have seen the faces on the guys and gal. Priceless!
At that point, I told Alex to read the line item on the receipt, where he saw it was for an iPad. It was classic.
All in all, we should all have our iPhone 4s tomorrow, I hope and we should all be glowing with our Apple shine.
