As some of you know, at least the ones who read it on my personal blog, I was on national TV for the first time in my life.
NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams asked me to be interviewed for the big announcement of Google Instant, primarily because they saw my predictions and knew they were right.
So I visited the NBC headquarters in NYC, interviewed for about 20 minutes directly after the Google announcement and was aired for about 5 seconds that night on NBC (Channel 4 here in New York). Here is video I clipped from the full segment named Picking the brains behind Google Instant:
The interview was interesting, I was hoping Brian Williams would sit with me and ask me questions, but he did not. It was pre-recorded at about 1pm (EST), later aired at about 6:45pm that night. The person interviewing me was in California. I had an ear piece, he talked to me and I had to look at a blank wall, pretending he was sitting in front of me. We talked for about twenty-minutes and they kept a total of 5 seconds or so.
Would I do it again? For sure!
If I was smart, I would have recorded the whole thing in the studio on my iPhone. They said they do not give out raw footage. In any event, I did take some pictures: 
I should note, I had to remove my laptop for the interview. Not because of the RB sticker, just because of video recording purposes.
