I am sitting in a United Airlines lounge at LAX waiting for my plane to get back to Newark by Friday morning. I travel on average once a month but I am a boring traveler.
When I travel, I normally go from the airport to the hotel, speak, back to hotel, speak more and then go back to the airport to head home and to my office. Normally when I go to the west coast, I'll take a red eye flight back and when I land at 6am, I go straight to the office without stopping at home.
Today was different, I had a few hours before heading home and got most of my work done before I spoke, so I decided to stop off on the way to LAX to Pico Boulevard where they have a nice number of quality kosher restaurants. When I was in the Lyft on the way to one of those restaurants, I saw Schwartz's sign. So after I ate, I took a picture of myself standing in front of the sign. Then I got a new Lyft and went to the airport - where I am writing this up.
In short, normally I wouldn't stop off anywhere, let alone take pictures of me stopping off anywhere. But this time I decided to be a bit more exciting and make a stop.
