We have had our share of Rabbis stop by the office before but I wanted to tell you about a recent quick visit by Rabbi Moshe Tendler.
Rabbi Tendler is well known for many reasons, some including his work at Yeshiva University in New York, his work in medical ethics and him being the son-in-law of Rabbi Moshe Feinstein. But to Ronnie and me, he is the Rabbi we grew up with.
Rabbi Tendler is the Rabbi of Community Synagogue of Monsey, founded in 1953, the place where Ronnie and I had our Brit milahs, where we had our Bar Mitzvahs and where we Aufrufs the week before our weddings. In fact, Rabbi Tendler married both of us at our wedding ceremony.
He stops by every now and then because he knows a lot of people in the building. He rarely stops by here, but when he does, it is always nice to see him.
Anyway, he is likely the most famous Rabbi to stop by our offices.
We also had a very famous author stop by a couple times, his name is Hanoch Teller. Doesn't hurt to have people at their level stop by the offices, don't you think?
