iCal Subscriptions for Luach Events Now Be' Ivrit

Published April 27, 2010

iPhone Siddur AppThis is a small but very important enhancement for our Hebrew speaking users of the iPhone Siddur. Now, the method to subscribe to your Luach events, the Jewish events in your iPhone Siddur, now supports Hebrew characters.

Yes, here is a picture of the iPhone Calendar with Hebrew events in it, pulled from the iPhone Siddur's subscription system.

How do you change your settings to Hebrew?

Open the iPhone Siddur, click on "More," then click on the bottom left button, "Subscriptions Settings & Subscribe." That will take you out of the App (Apple makes us take you out of the app) and into Safari to configure the settings for this iCal subscription. Then at the bottom, there is a new "Language" setting for "Hebrew" or "English." If you want it in Hebrew, select "Hebrew" and hit "Update Settings."

I know many of our users will be happy about this addition.
