Driving My Car & Surfing The Web: Best Of Both Worlds

Published March 27, 2006
driving-car-surfing-web.jpg News.com has this excellent news video clip named MSN TV wants to go for a ride with you. This video takes you through a service to be released in Summer of '06, that will enable you to surf the Web while driving your car. MSN and Verizon Wireless teamed up to provide an "in-car broadband system." The video shows how a kid in the back seat can surf the web via remote or wireless keyboard, with a screen from the car's roof. The Internet runs off of Verizon Wireless high broadband service, with MSN proving the portal services. The best part is that your car can act as a wireless access point. So you can be traveling with your laptop and surf the Web, as you would in your office. I can not tell you how many times I had the urge to use my laptop and the Internet while driving. Driving and Surfing at the same time is not recommended.
